In August 2015, life seemed perfect for Chris Draper. He had a new baby and his whole future ahead. He loved his construction job.

Then everything changed—Chris suddenly lost his job. With a baby at home, what would he do?

Chris’s passion for construction began early. At just 8, he was helping his dad and stepmom renovate a fixer-upper, learning hard work and craftsmanship. By 15, he was a carpenter’s laborer, flipping houses. From framing to landscaping, Chris’s hands-on experience taught him how every piece of a home fits together.

So, when Chris lost his job in 2015, he took a leap of faith. Northwest Kitchens & Baths Plus was born. Chris handled it all—framing, cabinetry, decking, drywall—mastering each trade and earning a reputation for quality and client satisfaction.

After years of running the company in Seattle, Chris dreamed of building something bigger—homes that stand the test of time. Moving to Oregon with his wife Jess brought that vision to life, inspired by the Hawaiian concept of Aloha: kindness, unity, and respect.
